(arb. Jumu'a, the sixth day of the week.) Recognizing Friday, the sixth day of the week in which the believers gather for their congregational prayers in a dream means receiving God's blessings, recuperating a lost property, receiving compensation for one's losses, and changes in his financial conditions from tightness to ease. If one sees people gathered to pray the congregational Friday prayers at the grand mosque while he is still in his house or shop, and if he hears the call and segments of their prayers, or if he suspects people to be leaving the mosque to return to their homes in the dream, it means loss of his status in that town. If one joins the congregational prayers in the dream, it means that he will receive protection and honor in that town. If one thinks it is Friday in his dream, then the meaning will be more pejorative than laudatory. Joining the congregational Friday prayers in a dream also may connote a pleasant journey with anticipation of a financial reward one may receive. Joining the Friday congregational prayers in a dream is a sign of joy and living to join one of the two festive congregational prayers of the end of Ramadan or that of the pilgrimage season. Pilgrimage

(Hajj) Performing the pilgrimage to Mecca, fulfilling its obligatory pillars and celebrating its ceremonies in a dream represents one's spiritual and religious growth. It will bring him a great reward in this life and in the next, appease his fears, and imply that he is a trustworthy person. If this dream occurs during the pilgrimage season, it means profits for a merchant, recovery for the sick, finding guidance after heedlessness, or it could mean that one will perform his pilgrimage if he had not yet fulfilled this obligatory religious duty. If one's dream takes place outside the pilgrimage season, then it could mean the opposite. If one sees himself as a pilgrim in a dream, and if he disdains from actually performing his pilgrimage, though he possesses the means to do so, it means that he is a reprobate and an ungrateful person. Performing one's pilgrimage in a dream also indicates the necessity to serve one's parents and to be true to them, or the duty to serve one's teacher and be truthful with him. Performing one's pilgrimage in a dream also means visiting a gnostic, a saint, a shaikh, a scholar, or it could mean getting married, acquiring knowledge, satisfying one's needs, recuperating from an illness, repenting from sin, or joining the company of pious people. If one travels to perform his pilgrimage using a vehicle in a dream, it means that he will receive help from God Almighty. If he travels on foot leading a camel in the dream, it means that he will do so with the help of a woman. If he rides an elephant in the dream, it means that he will perform his pilgrimage as a member of a governmental delegation. If one travels on foot in the dream, it means that he has made a vow which he must fulfill. Seeing oneself returning from a pilgrimage in a dream means profits and relief from stress. If one carries his provisions with him in the dream, it means that he stands before his Lord with piety and reverence. Carrying the pilgrim's provisions in a dream also means paying poor people their dues, or it could mean paying one's debts. If one sees himself going to perform his pilgrimage alone, and the people standing up to pay their farewell to him in a dream, it means that he will die shortly. Arafat

(Mecca; Mount 'Arafa; Mount of mercy; Plain of 'Ararat; Reunion of beloveds) If one sees himself standing in prayers in the Plain of 'Arafat during the pilgrimage season on the 9th day of the Arabic month of Zul-Hiijah, it means the return of a long awaited traveller to his home, a happy reunion, a family reunion, reconciliation between friends or peace between two individuals. Seeing Mount 'Arafa or the Plain of 'Arafat in a dream also could represent the pilgrimage season, or performing a pilgrimage, visiting Mecca on 'Umrah, or it could mean the Friday congregational prayers, the sixth day of the week, a marketplace, or engaging in a profitable business. Seeing oneself standing at 'Arafat in a dream also means rising in station, changing conditions, reversal of one's state from good to bad or from bad to good, or perhaps it could mean death of a beloved such as one's wife, or it could mean relocating to a blessed place or finding a sanctuary. Seeing oneself at 'Arafat in a dream also could mean losing a battle to one's adversary, though the results or consequences of such a battle will bring him honor and exalted station, or it could mean winning the battle against one's enemy. If a sinner sees himself praying and repenting at Mount 'Arafa or near the Mount of Mercy in the Plain of 'Arafat in a dream, it means that his repentance will be accepted, or that a secret will be us exposed, or it could mean that a reunion of beloveds will take place shortly after one's dream. If one sees himself standing in 'Arafa during the night time in a dream, it means that his goals will be attained and that he will satisfy his quest. Circumambulation

(Ambulate; Ka'aba; Mecca; Walk around) If a sinner sees himself circumambulating God's House in Mecca in a dream, it means that he will be freed from suffering in hell-fire. If one is unmarried, it means that he will get married. If one qualifies for promotion, it means that he will receive it. Seeing oneself performing a pilgrimage in a dream also means circumambulating God's house in Mecca, developing a good character, living a straight and a worthy life, safety from fear, repayment of one's debts, delivering entrusted merchandise to their rightful owners or money to its people on demand, being trustworthy, living an ascetic life, fulfilling a promise, atonement for one's sins, distributing expiatory gifts or interceding on behalf of a trustworthy and a noble Imam. Seeing oneself circumambulating God's house while riding on a mare in a dream means that one will commit the abominable sin of adultery with a member of his own family or with a consanguineous blood relative with whom it is not permissible to have sexual relationship. Ka'aba

(God's house in Mecca.) In a dream, the holy Ka'aba represents the calif of all Muslims, his chief minister, a leader of a country, or it may represent a wedding. Seeing the holy Ka'aba in a dream also means that one may enter it, or it could mean receiving glad tidings and dispelling evil. Praying inside the holy Ka'aba in a dream means enjoying the guardianship and protection of someone in authority, and safety from one's enemy. Entering inside the holy Ka'aba in a dream means entering before a ruler. Taking something from inside the holy Ka'aba in a dream means receiving something from the ruler. If one of the walls of the holy Ka'aba crumbles in a dream, it means the death of the Calif or the local governor. Entering the holy Ka'aba and failing to perform any of the prescribed rites in a dream means standing before God Almighty on the Day of Judgment having performed one's obligations, or it could mean repenting from one's sins. To look at the holy Ka'aba in a dream means safety and protection against fear. If one is given a job in Mecca in a dream, it means that he may become an Imam. Stealing anything from the holy Ka'aba in a dream means committing a sin. Walking toward the holy Ka'aba, or seeking it in a dream means correcting one's religious standing. Seeing oneself in Mecca mixing with departed souls who are inquiring from him about the world in a dream means to die testifying to the Oneness of God Almighty and to the prophethood of His Messenger, upon whom be peace. Seeing the Ka'aba inside one's own house in a dream means that one is still in power and living with grace. If the holy Ka'aba does not look right in one's eyes in the dream, then it means adversities. If one sees the holy Ka'aba as his own house in a dream, the holy Ka'aba then represents the Imam of all Muslims who is the representative and vice-regent of God's Messenger (uwbp), and it means that one truly follows the Imam. Praying on top of the holy Ka'aba in a dream means becoming an apostate. Entering the holy Mosque in Mecca and praying on the roof of the holy Ka'aba in a dream represents peace, tranquility, presiding over others, it also means that one will become victorious wherever one goes, though with a questionable conduct, he also may follow innovation and depart from the traditions and teachings of God's Messenger, upon whom be peace. Walking by the holy Ka'aba, or leaving it behind in a dream means going against the traditions of God's Prophet, upon whom be peace, following the path of innovation, or interpreting things according to one's own mind and liking. If one sees angels descending from the heavens to lift away the pillar of God's House from Mecca and place it in a different town in the dream, it means that people have gone astray and the time of destruction has come. It also means that the pillar of the faith, the righteous guide of the believers and God's vice-regent on earth Al-Mahdi will soon emerge to dwell in that town. If one sees the holy Ka'aba burning in a dream, it means that one has neglected or abandoned his prescribed prayers. Any changes, decrease or increase in the shape of the holy Ka'aba, moving of it away from its place, or changing its look in a dream will reflect upon the Imam, or the guide of all Muslims. Circumambulating the holy Ka'aba or performing any of the prescribed rites in a dream means walking the path of righteousness, or correcting one's religious life as much as one does in his dream. Failure to perform some of the prescribed rites that are associated with being at the holy Ka'aba in a dream indicates one's deviation from God's path, and such innovation is equal to changing the direction (arb. Qiblah) of one's prayers. The holy Ka'aba in a dream also represents one's prayers, for it is the focal point of all praying Muslims. The holy Ka'aba in a dream also represents God's House, a mosque, a community center of all Muslims, and it represents a teacher, a guide, Islam, the holy Qur'an, the prophetic traditions, one's son, a religious scholar, a shaikh, a master, a husband, one's mother, and the heavenly paradise. The holy Ka'aba is God's House, and thereat people will be gathered and led into paradise. The holy Ka'aba in a dream also represents the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, the gathering of believers, the local markets and the vicinity of the holy Mosque. If one sees that his own house has become the Ka'aba and people are seeking it and crowds are gathering at his door in a dream, it means that he will be endowed with wisdom, gain knowledge and act upon it, and that people will learn at his hand and follow his example. Performing some of the required rites at the holy Ka'aba in a dream also means that one may work for someone in authority, or serve a man of knowledge, a shaikh, a renunciate, one's father, one's mother, or it could mean that one has a master who demands clarity, true following and hard work from his students and disciples.

River

In a dream, a river represents a noble and a great person. Walking into a river in a dream means befriending or encountering such a person. Drinking from a river in a dream means trials, but if the water is clear, it means enjoying prosperity and a happy life. Jumping from one bank of a river to the other in a dream means escaping from adversities, dispelling distress or anguish, and it means winning victory over one's enemy. In a dream, a river also denotes travels. Swimming in a river in a dream means working in the government. If the river runs through the streets and markets, and if one sees people bathing in it or taking their ritual ablution in it in one way or another it in a dream, such a river then represents the justice of a ruler. If the river floods the streets, or runs through people's homes and damages their properties and personal belongings in the dream, then the river represents an unjust ruler, or it could represent an invading army. If a river flows from one's house and causes no harm to anyone in a dream, it represents one's good intentions or deeds. If one becomes a river in a dream, it means his death. Murky waters in a dream signify worries and fearing a great man. Crossing from one side of a river into another in a dream means dispelling one's fears or worries. It also could mean severing one's association with such a man only to meet with another one. Jumping from the middle of a river to the riverbank in a dream means escaping from the wrath of a ruler.
